New blog!!

So I have decided to reinvent myself!! ;) A new nickname, new blog and... no thats it really. Just wanted to try and become a bit more international... dunno why but fun to try something new :)

So with ALOT of help from my friend San who made the blog background , the blog banner (she also made those two things for this blog) and my signature picture I have started a new one.

So for all of you that normally come here to read about my crafting and stampaddiction, if you just jump over here instead, you can still look at the stuff I make.

If you have my blog in your bloglist on your blog then I would be a happy bunny if you would change it to the new one instead. If you dont have me in your bloglist you are more than welcome to put me there :))

Hope you all have a wonderful day

Lots of love

Chocolate birthday present

 Hello!

So my mum had her birthday some time ago and I gave her the best thing in the world... Chocolate!! To make it a bit fancier I made a little wrapping for it. Just took some cardstock wrapped it around the chocolate bars.

Measured another peice of cardstock (the green one), so it was the same length as the white one but not the same width, tore the edges and a made a gap in the middle. In that gap I put a matching designpaper.

A leather frame in silver and some white and purple flowers together with some brown package ribbon is the decor.
And I also made a matching, very small card so she knows who its from:) And to my surprise (yes even I got surprised) no stamp!!

Have a great day and please stop by soon again.

Cake Time!

Good Morning!

Look at what I made! It is a cake funky huh? I just think it is adorable. Every layer is an individual box to put something in. So you can give it away. You dont have to make it a wedding cake as I did, change the colours and decorations and use it for a birthday or maybe a christening :) It is really easy to make just a bunch of boxes in different sizes on top of each other and then I decorated every other box with ribbon and every other with stamps called Heart, small with tip to the left and Heart, small with tip to the right. Both from Stämpelkällan

And then the display box which I had a template for but if you just have the patience (that I dont have :)) I am sure you can measure and cut out the holes by hand.

The cake stand was also a template I hade, but same goes there, I reckon it's not that hard to make yourself :) It is a square peice with fancy cut edges. All sides folded one centimeter or two in. and voiala a cakestand ( hehe says me who had a template...)

On the layers with hearts on I have also put a halfbead in every corner.

Thats all for me today

Hearts haging from a rope.

 Hi everyone!!

This card I made to put on Stämpelkällans blog last Friday and now more than a week later it makes its way to my blog... :) It is not much to it but I really like the simplicity of it, I'm kinda in to the simple, easy on the decorating right now.

As you can see in the title the stamp is called Hearts haging from a rope and is of course from Stämpelkällan :). I stamped the image two times and from one of them I only used the hearts, put them on 3D foam squares and mounted them on the hearts on the second image, tried to get some depth in the image by doing that. I coloured the stamp with Copics and on the little bubbles I used... yes you guessd it... STICKLES!!! ;)

The cardstock that I used in the background I embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder which I bought from Mixen. To finish it off I tied a bit of ribbon to the side.

I hope you have a lovely day and that I see you back soon

Waterfallcard

 Hi all!!

I just had to try the waterfallcard.. I know it has been around for ages but I just haven't got around to try it until now :) I made it for Fingerpills daughter that turnt four years old earlier this month. The paper is a kraft kuts paper called princess sky, I just love this type of paper and have had it lying around for some time before I could make myself cut into it... I have this problem with cutting paper that I really like :) you know because if I use it its gone... I know it makes no sense but I think that is one of the resons that I have so much design paper that isn't touched... And for the first time in a long while its a card without a stamp!! I dont know what happend but there was just no room for it :)

It was a very fun type of card to make and looks alot more advanced than it is and it dosent need that much decorations (cant really fit it either)

Just a tip though dont put anything that sticks out  on the little tag that you pull in as you can see I did, I puched out a 4 and stuck it on. That was not a good idea since it made it a bit more trickier to push back when you want to "close" the card :).

Card with cats!

This is a card I made for an order. The wishes from the person who orderd it was that it said congrats and that it had cats on it, as soon as she said cats I knew exectly what stamp to use the rest kind of grew as I progressed. I have used the stamp called cats on a fence, text with rose and the text is congrats all three comes from Stämpelkällan. I coloured it with copics and kept the decore to a minimum because it was to be sent, not due to the weight (I always exceed the one stamp weightlimit with my multi layers of papaer :)) mainly because i didn't want alot of stuff sticking out that could get loose, then the card dosent look at all as you intended when it comes to its destination. So only some halfbeads, a thin ribbon, some brads and a hatpin with beads on the end. I think the papers comes from creative club, I have had them for a while so I cant really remember.

Until next time

Some "new" stuff

Its amazing how time passes you by so quickly, doesn´t feel that long since I made an entry here but then I saw that it was weeks ago!!  So here it goes just a quick one this time more pics than text :) Maybe better that way. Tihi.... who wants to here me rambling on about things anyway... :)

Here are some cards that I have had lying around for some time. The stamps are all from Stämpelkällan, three of the cards I made my own "designpaper" for, using stamps and clear embossing, if you want to know how to make it my tutorial is here.

Have a lovely weekend and hope to see you soon
